Welcome to RunHub, the brand new FREE interactive running community channel from Runner's World. There's just 3 easy steps you need to take to get started on RunHub:

1. Run

Join Runner's World or login if you are already a member - then, go for a run & log it on RunHub. Once you are logged in, you will see a toolbar at the top of the website.

The tool bar allows you to add an activity via the 'Quick Log', where you can manually log an activity, 'Upload' directly from garmin devices or 'Sync' with Nike+ or upload multiple file types.

The right hand avatar drop down menu also has quicklinks to:

My Training Dairy - Here, you can see your running history in calendar and list views. One of the great features here is the 'Reports' tab, which enables you to analyse your running performance in over 20 graphs; you can compare your running period on period and even against other members!

There is also a link to your RunHub Profile, which you can personalise and add your own cover image by editing your profile settings.

The Training section on RunHub also includes a number of useful tools to enable you to get the most out of your running including training plans, an interactive route mapping & sharing tool, weekly running leagues and annual leaderboards.

2. Compete

Once you have started logging runs, why not take part in our RunHub race series and our monthly running challenges where you can win great prizes and achieve greatness.

3. Connect

Find and follow other members to run with, customise your RunHub profile, upload your running photos, join a running group and take part in a RunHub chat.

4. Training Plans

There are also training plans on RunHub. We have a selection of plans for all users looking for simple 5K plans to sub 3 hour marathon plans.

Simply click on 'Training Plans' in the Training Log drop down menu and you'll see the plans available.

Once you have chosen a plan, you can either view it in more detail or simply add it to your training calender by clicking 'Add To My Plans'. Once you've done that, the plan is added to the 'My Plans' tab and will also load so that you then have a chance to Edit the plan, Delete it from 'My Plans' or 'Start Plan'.

'Start Plan' is where you can set a start or end date for the plan. For example, if you want to start a 16 week plan from the 1st February, then simple select the 'Start' button and then choose 1st February from the calender. This will load the plan into your calender to start on the 1st Feb.

However, if you have date to train for like the London Marathon on the 13th April, then simply select the 'End' button and 13th April from the calender and the plan will automatically back date from the 13th to the current date, giving a training plan leading up to that event.

All the plans you follow can be found under the 'My Plans' tab.
